The Full Story
My Approach

I'm Sam, a British Wheel of Yoga trained teacher with over 20 years of personal practice and nearly a decade of teaching experience. My work brings together yoga, Pilates, breathwork and fascia awareness to support movement that feels sustainable, supportive and genuinely beneficial for everyday bodies.
My teaching is shaped by years of personal practice, lived experience, formal training in yoga, Yin Yoga, Pilates and pranayama, alongside a background in health psychology and a particular interest in the barriers that can make movement feel intimidating or out of reach.
Classes welcome a wide range of ages and abilities, with an emphasis on listening to your body, moving at a pace that feels right, and gradually building strength, flexibility and confidence.

Pilates
Pilates training deepened my understanding of core strength and, alignment. My teaching style is slightly different to traditional styles. Instead of using reps, I use time, so students don't rush to finish. The emphasis is on form, breath and control, making classes accessible and beneficial across different bodies and life stages.
Yoga
My Yoga classes are designed to help you slow down, tune in and build a deeper connection with your body. This isn't about pushing harder or achieving the perfect pose, but about moving with awareness, releasing tension and creating space, both physically and mentally.
Each class is designed to meet you where you are. Creating a supportive, non-judgemental space, you'll be guided to move at your own pace, helping you reconnect, build strength, and feel more at ease in your body.

Yin Yoga
I was drawn to Yin Yoga after realising I needed to slow down and listen more closely to my body.
My classes focus on stillness, deep release, and giving the nervous system time to settle.
This approach is accessible and supportive for a wide range of bodies and life stages, including those in their later years. Many students comment on how restorative they find the sessions.
Fascia & Connective Tissue
My interest in Fascia began through Yin Yoga and deepened after completing my fascial training with Bonnie Crotzer.
Experiencing profound change in my own body (especially my hamstrings) showed me just how free and open the body can feel. This experience shapes how I guide my movement and release.
